Description of Bishton Hall Pony Club

Bishton Hall Pony Club was established in 2009 for the children at Saint Bede’s school, but now also serves the wider community. It is thriving and going from strength to strength.

We started with just 3 ponies standing in the middle of a field while the fence went up. In just 2 years we have developed into a successful Pony Club Approved Riding Centre. The Pony Club is the largest association of young riders in the world and we support their ethos of promoting the highest ideals of sportsmanship and give instruction in both riding and horsemanship. We are open on Saturday mornings for the general public.   We have 11 ponies of various breeds, sizes and characters who are dearly loved by the children.

A dedicated team of both children and adults ensure that they are well looked after and ridden successfully.   We offer private and group riding lessons and stable management tuition in beautiful surroundings - we have access to over 30 acres in the stunning grounds of Saint Bede's school.

We also offer children's parties, 'Own-a-pony' days and summer pony camp weeks. Contact Bishton Hall Pony Club for more information.
