Anglesey Riding Centre

A fairytale experience awaits you at Anglesey Riding Centre!

We are based on the Menai Straits, the branch of the Irish Sea which separates Anglesey from the mainland of Wales. We have the best of both worlds: the tranquility of island life, combined with breathtaking views across the straits to Caernarfon Castle and the snow-capped peaks of Snowdonia National Park. It’s the perfect place for humans and horses to relax, have fun, and form lasting bonds.

We have equestrian experiences to suit all riders. If you’re looking for a ride to remember, we’ll be happy to oblige, no matter where you find yourself on your journey. We can take absolute beginners for lead rein rides, guide inexperienced riders on private bridleways at the water’s edge, and gallop along the beach with competent riders.

We also offer lessons and training, which can take place in our outdoor ménage or indoor arena depending on the weather, as well as our very popular half-and-half experiences. These include both a lesson and a hack, so that you can put new skills to test in the beautiful landscape of the Isle of Anglesey.

Kids' clubs and stable management courses are on offer as well. We find that young horse lovers are very happy to help out around the stables if it means spending time with our gorgeous horses! We currently have a weight limit of 15 stone in place to protect our horses.
