Phoenix Helicopter Academy is a new and enthusiastic helicopter flying school located at the popular and charismatic Goodwood Aerodrome in Chichester, West Sussex.

Although Phoenix Helicopter Academy is a relatively new school our instructors are not and our entire philosophy is aimed at helicopter pilot training.  We are a specialist Helicopter Flight Training School and whether you are looking for that perfect helicopter gift flight, learning to fly for your pleasure, or the start of a new career we are here to help.  The company is owned and run by instructors who will go out of their way to fulfill your needs.

We are ideally located in the centre of the south coast within an hour’s drive of Portsmouth to the west, Brighton to the east and Haslemere to the north.  We are proud to offer the highest standards of Helicopter Flight Training tailored to your individual requirements with friendly, highly qualified staff who are passionate about helicopters, here to make your training the enjoyable and individual experience it should be.

Goodwood is the perfect environment for helicopter training and hosts two of the largest helicopter events in the UK being the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.  It is very helicopter friendly with large hover training areas and is located in uncontrolled airspace freeing up the training time to the maximum.

Apart from pilot training, we also offer helicopter charter services and pleasure flights to London, Brighton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. We have unique pleasure flight packages that include stops at hotels where you can have lunch.
