High Peak Helicopters is a helicopter flying school based at City Airport, in Manchester Barton and at our own training facility close to Macclesfield. We offer both trial flight experiences and PPL helicopter training and lessons. We train our students in Robinson R44 helicopters.
If you would like to become a helicopter pilot, the first step to take is a trial flight experience. You can choose between 30 and 60 minutes long trial flights that allow you to actually fly the helicopter while enjoying the beautiful views. The trial lessons also make a great gift for someone special who is interested in flying!
For those who would like to fly a helicopter on their own, we provide helicopter private pilot license training and lessons. The instructors who will guide you through your helicopter pilot training are not only friendly but also have an extensive experience in pilot training.
We are also offering further training for people who already have the PPL, such as a night fly and training qualification course and helicopter conversion training for the people who are already trained to fly other kinds of a helicopter and would like to start flying an amazing helicopter such as the Robinson R44.
