Welcome to Trent Valley Gliding Club!
We are a flying club, run by 80 volunteers, that is located 1-mile south of Kinton Lindsey. We offer a huge grass airfield that is surrounded by Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Lincoln and more. With the advanced fleet of gliders, Trent Valley Gliding Club leads the site in North Lincolnshire.
Are you completely new to gliding? This is the perfect place for you! Whether you are new or experienced and are looking for a place to practice and revive past years - we want you to come!
For the beginners, we guarantee that gliding is a very clean and cheap way to fly. Also, we teach anyone from fourteen years old and up and at the exact moment the student reaches the requirements and standards, they can go solo.
But, then, what´s next? You can progress and become more and more competent until a professional pilot - giving you the opportunity to soar cross country, local flying, gliding competitions, even aerobatics. The sky is the limit!
