We are Jameson’s Irish Whiskey, the award-winning, best-selling spirit that’s been delighting the taste buds of millions for almost 250 years. The brand was founded by John Jameson in Dublin in 1780 then expanded by one of his 16 children, John Jameson II, starting a long line of distillers of quality spirits in Ireland.

In the 21st century, we are an international brand. Our whiskey is sold in 130 countries at a volume of around 8 million cases per annum. But it’s not just quantity, our whiskeys, especially the 18-Year and Rarest Reserve labels, have won accolades at competitions around the globe.

We haven’t forgotten our roots. We are still a proudly Irish company and, though production has now moved to the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork, we maintain our original premises in Smithfields, Dublin. In fact, the Jameson Distillery Bow Street is now a tourist attraction.

We welcome whiskey fanatics to join us for a guided tour of the Bow St distillery. They are walked through the history of the installation and the story of whiskey production from raw materials to finished product. Of course, there’s also a tasting session, and the itinerary ends in the bar where we serve our whiskies alongside our own beers, soft drinks and food.
