Wrekin Gliding Club

Welcome to Wrekin Gliding Club!

We are an RAF Gliding and Soaring Association Club operating from RAF Cosford, near Albrighton in Wolverhampton. We welcome all to our club, including serving, ex-service and MOD personnel, civilians, and those who have no flying experience.

We offer Trial Lessons to non-members, which are a great way to experience this exhilarating feeling for the first time. If you would like to come along and try gliding in a group, in the summer we offer evenings for trial lessons groups for a maximum of 20 people. During this first flight you will be encouraged to handle the controls as much as possible, and if you wish after the first flight you can continue with lessons to learn to fly.

We also provide Gift Vouchers, consisting of trial flights, for you to make an awesome and ideal present for a loved one, family and friends. Also, for this offer, we provide a great range of gliders for the "co-pilot" to choose. Also, during summer season we tailor our services for the entire evening with trial lessons for large groups (for ten or more people). So, imagine a great party or a corporate event with us!
