Welcome to Norfolk Gliding Club!
We have been operating for nearly 50 years, and are located at Tibenham Airfield, in South Norfolk. We fly every day and offer you flights, training and holiday courses.
Our location means we have a large area of uncontrolled airspace and the area around South Norfolk is a great place to enjoy gliding. This fantastic location means we are also an excellent venue for a series of National Gliding competitions every year.
We offer many packages for various levels of experience, and our fully qualified BGA instructors will fly with you and give you all of the advice and instruction you need. If you have never experienced gliding before come and join us for one of our Trial Flights. If you are a professional pilot and would like to practice your techniques and fly solo, having a great day, you can come to our facilities all year round!
We also offer Guide ability, just to provide the opportunity for the physical less-able to try a flight and enjoy an incredible and thrilling experience. Also, if your youngsters are under eighteen, do not worry! They can fly solo with just fourteen years old!
