Welcome to The Cairngorm Gliding Club!
We are based at Feshie Airstrip, on the edge of Cairngorm Mountains and the Spey Valley, an area that gives you some fantastic scenery to enjoy. We have been operating for over 43 years, and have a wealth of experience to help you get the most out of your gliding experience.
Our Location
We are conveniently located just 4 miles from Kincraig, and Feshie is a perfect gliding location, with excellent conditions for the ridge, wave and thermal cross-country flying, and of course the beautiful views.
Gliding with us
We operate all year round, and although we operate mainly at weekends, gliding is also often available during the week.
We offer Intensive 5 day courses, with the availability of the course depending on the availability of the instructor.
At weekends, and sometimes during the week, you can come and try gliding with one of our Trial flights in our 2-seater, dual-control gliders. During the flight, your qualified instructor will fly you over the Cairngorm Mountains and show you how to fly the glider, and will also give you the opportunity to take control and try out your own flying skills.
