Welcome to Bath Wilts & North Dorset Gliding Club!
Our airfield is located at Kingston Deverill, just a few miles south of Warminster and close to the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
We always welcome new members, including those that have never tried gliding before. Come and join us for a trial lesson, flying lessons, or join the club. Nearly everyone can learn to glide, and you can start at any age. You can fly solo as young as 16, and we have no upper age limit. There are weight restrictions on the club two-seaters, contact us for more information. Our training is organised under the supervision of the British Gliding Association (BGA). We provide trial flights options, such as the aerotow to 2000 ft, aerotow to 3000 ft, aerotow to 3000 ft and aerotow to one-mile high!
We are open every weekend and on Bank Holidays.
We have an annual membership fee, and there is a cost for the launch and soaring charge, but our qualified instructors are all club members who give their time for free, so there is no charge for this.
