Welcome to Angus Gliding Club
We are a small and friendly club located at Drumshade Farm, between Glamis and Kirriemuir in the Strathmore Valley. Visitors are always welcome, and we are affiliated with the Abertay University Gliding Club in Dundee, so many sudents have started their gliding lessons here with us.
Weather permitting, we fly every weekend, mainly on Sundays but some Saturdays as well.
Our variety of gliders caters for everyone, and we have a choice of a K7, Bocian, SF34 and K6cr.
Our launches are by winch in either East or West direction, as they are the main wind directions here. We also have good thermal conditions, from Spring right through to Autumn and regularly get wave of the Scottish hills as well.
