West Country Fishing

West Country Fishing is based in Somerset, near the capital of the region, Bristol and we provide fishing tuition for beginners, intermediate and advanced anglers across a range of disciplines, whether it be fly, coarse or sea fishing.

We guide on:

• Chew Valley Lake
• Blagdon Lake
• Barrow Reservoirs
• Jacklands Fishing Lakes
• The River Wye
• The River Exe
• The Somerset Levels
• and numerous other lakes, rivers and streams in the West Country.

All of our coaches are fully licensed, which means that you are being taught or guided by an individual who has been assessed by the Salmon And Trout Association, the Game Angling Instructors Association or Sport England, and they have passed the necessary examinations to hold their qualifications. We hold public liability insurance and are all qualified first aiders.

We firmly believe that you deserve the best, safest and most enjoyable service. We guarantee that you will have an excellent fishing experience with us whatever the discipline and wherever we go. We offer guided trips for individuals and groups, corporate days out, stag trips, enrichment days for schools and colleges and demonstrations for special events and functions. We have also put on such events as cookery demonstrations and BBQs service with qualified chefs.
