Welcome to Bristol Channel Fishing

Location

We operate out of Penarth Marina in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, during the Winter and Spring, and fish in the Bristol Channel. The Bristol Channel has a great reputation for excellent fishing, and is particulary known for its Cod Fishing, as well as Conger and Ray fishing. We also operate from Milford Haven in Pembrokshire.

When and Where to Fish

The Cod season usually starts around the end of August and goes right through to the middle of May, although the best time to fish for cod is between October and January,  and in March and April. 

We also offer Shark fishing from our location in off Pembroke, West Wales, which has become a prominent Porbeagle and Blue Shark area. Milford Haven is also becoming, if it is not already, one of the best Shark venues at the moment. In addition to this, if you are interested in Shark fishing, the last five biggest blue sharks caught from Welsh waters were caught on White Water charters, and White Water is the only boat in the UK to boat two blues over the 200lb mark.

If you want to catch a lot of inshore fish, then Reef Fishing off West Wales is perfect for you, with locations such as the Wild Goose, the Hats and Barrels and the Smalls. Here you can hope to catch Bass, Cod, Ling, Coalfish and Mackeral, as well as the possibility of Tope. Conger, Gurnard, and Bullhuss.

However if you want to catch lots of big fish offshore, then try Wreck Fishing off West Wales. Here you can hope to catch quality fish such as Pollack, Bass, Cod, Ling and Coalfish. June through until early November are the best times of the year for offshore wrecking.

Our Boat

'White Water 4' is our brand new boat. She has a lot of of improvements and can reach speeds in excess of thirty knots. She also carries top of the range Raymarine Electronics, plus many other minor improvements.
