Description of Valkyrie Charters

Up for an angling adventure?

Located at Premier Marina Marina, Gosport, we are Valkyrie Charters - a fishing boat charter company with a whole lot to offer. From introductory trips to multi day charters, and options for equipment hire, we welcome people of all kinds to join us on the deck for a spot of fishing.

Sailing out of Portsmouth Harbour, we have access to some fantastic fishing locations in the English Channel east of the Isle of Wight. In the summer, we go after rays, bream, bass, plaice, turbot and even the shark species tope and smoothhound. In the colder months, we focus on cod and conger eels, while wrecks are a great place to look for pollock in the spring.

Our boats are Valkyrie 6 and Valkyrie 7. They are both 11-metre seafaring vessels with comfortable seating, onboard facilities and high tech instruments. The skippers are Glen and Zac Cairns, and you won’t find a better hand at the wheel than these.

If you’re interested in a fishing trip, take a look at the outings we offer. Popular day excursions see us wreck fishing or going after bass. If you’d like to come on a longer trip that lasts several days, the north coast of France and the Channel Islands are within reach. We also make our boats available for hire for commercial purposes and other trips, like scattering ashes at sea.

Don't hesitate to contact Valkyrie Charters for more info or fishing tips.
