Welcome to Portishead Charters

We are based in Weston-super-Mare and offer a variety of services on our boat ´Evolution 30´, which is powered by a 420 hp Iveco turbo diesel.

Our Services

With Portishead Charters you can fish in the Bristol Channel for cod, bass, conger, skate, and smoothhounds, depending on the season. The fast flowing waters provide a challenging experience.

We welcome both small and large groups and all levels. Complete novices are also welcome and tuition is available. Rods, reels, and bait can all be arranged. The boat is licensed for 10 but the skipper prefers to take out a maximum of 8 as it is a more comfortable number and tends to make for a more enjoyable day for everyone.

The Skipper 

Paul Wells is a well-experienced skipper and angler.

The Vessel

The boat has a microwave oven for any meals you would like to bring along. There is also a flushing toilet.
