We are licensed for up to 12 people. and rod hire is available.

Location

We are based at Brixham, Torbay, South Devon, a beautiful part of the UK to explore sailing. Fish that you can hope to catch includes cod, bass, rays, smoothound, conger, bream, plaice, tope and mackerel.

The Skipper

Your skipper on Optimist is Nigel Lihou. Nigel is a fully qualified Electrical / Electronics Engineer and a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore and an MCA Boatmaster Tier 1 level 2, endorsed for passenger carrying.

The Boat

"Optimist" is an Offshore 32, powered by a 400hp Iveco Engine. She offers a large deck area for maximum fishing space and carries onboard up to date electronics and all necessary saftey measures.
