Welcome to Oban Sea Fishing

We are based at Dunstaffnage marina, giving you easy access to the many fishing areas on the picturesque West Coast of Scotland.

Here you are able to catch a variety of species, including pollack and wragge, and skate fishing is also good all year round, as it is not affected by climatic change due to the depths of the water.

We welcome all levels of anglers, including beginners, and we will give you all of the help and advice that you need to enjoy a great day fishing, and if you do not have your own equipment yet we have an excellent range available to hire.

Your Skipper

John Keggie is a qualified DTI approved skipper with over 30 years experience fishing in many areas, including Scotland, Ireland, and the South Coast, including the Channel Islands. He holds qualifications in navigation, first aid, and safety, and is also a member of the professional boatman's association.

The Vessel

Oberon is a fast 43 foot Aquastar. She offers comfort, speed, functionality and of course, safety. She is coded to MCA standard area 2 for up to 60 miles offshore.

Powered by twin Volvos, she is one of the biggest and best equipped charter boats operating in and around Scotland. Her other features include:
