Wrecks Fishing

You are able to fish for dogfish, conger, huss and tope at anchor, and cod, ling, pollack and coalfish on drift. There is also great spurdog fishing just off Holyhead wrecks

Reefs Fishing

In the summer you can fish for wrasse, pollack, huss, conger, dogfish and whiting at anchor, and codling, coalfish, pollack and mackerel on drift.

Holyhead Deep

Over the hole known as ‘Holyhead deep’ you will find excellent tope fishing. There is also good bottom fishing for skate, big cod, spur dog, conger, ling and Bull huss.

Holyhead Deept begins approximately 4 miles out from North Stack, and if you are lucky enough to hook a double figure fish most anglers are in need of a well deserved cup of tea afterwards after landing from such a depth.

Sightseeing

Holyhead offers some beautiful views on a sightseeing trip. First on the trip, we will pass the Holyhead breakwater. Then heading North to look for Bull huss you will see Skerries Lighthouse, popular with bird watchers. Here you will also find seal colonies. Heading West looking for tope we will pass the stunning cliffs of Holyhead Mountains, popular with climbers. Heading Southwest we will pass the popular beaches of Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn Beacon and Rhosneigr, before stopping at Ty Croes rocks. Another very popular sight is ´South Stack´lighthouse, where you can often see baskin shark, porpoise and dolphins.
