Welcome to Beaufort Charters

We offer fishing trips on our charter boat, 'Aquavitesse', from our base at Brighton Marina. We welcome all levels, from complete beginners to the more experienced anglers, we will be on hand to provide whatever advice and instruction you need.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Location

Brighton Marina has some great fishing opportunities, and we are easily accessable with free parking. We also work along the South Coast from Dover to Lymington.

When fishing in the waters around Brighton you can expect to catch pollack on the offshore wrecks in February and March, bream in April and May, mackerel in May as well as good catches of cod, pollack, ling and conger eel. From June to October you can expect to catch bass and bream, and then in November, whiting.

Our Boat

Aquavitesse is a fast, safe, jet-driven catamaran, ideal for sea fishing. With a full load she cruises at 18 knots, and can reach a maximum speed of 25 knots.

She is licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) to carry up to 12 passengers 60 miles from any safe haven, and is urveyed to COP60.

We carry all of the necessary safety equipment on board including:

• Life raft and life jackets for 14 people
• Flares
• Fire extinguishers
• Gas and bilge alarms fitted
• VHF radio and mobile phone
• First-aid kit
• GPS for precise satellite navigation
• Colour daylight radar
• Colour fish-finder and autopilot
• 240 Volt and 12 Volt supplies available on board

She is also designed for comfort as well as safety, and offers the following facilties:

• Electric flush toilet
• Microwave
• TV/DVD player
• CD/radio
• Fridge
• Coffee and tea-making facilities
• Cabin space for all
• Canopy fitted to provide weather protection from rain and sun
• Side and rear gates for easy access.
