Prima Sub Aqua

Prima Sub Aqua was created in 1988. We have more than 40 members whose qualifications vary from new trainees to advanced divers. Learning to dive is easier than you may imagine. You need to be older than 14 and pass a basic medical test. And those are the only requirements!

We meet and train on Tuesday evenings. To us, training is the practical lesson and tests are done in the pool. We also have classroom theory lessons and exams. We meet at our normal venue, Cheslyn Hay Leisure. Come along to our centre, we can arrange a try dive for you if you have never done it before.

One of our qualified instructors will explain the basics of scuba diving to you, including an introduction to how the kit works. Then you will get into the deepest part of the pool for a short lesson. If you like the experiencie of breathing underwater and want to learn more, then we will talk about the benefits of becoming a member. if you are a qualified diver already, this might be useful information to you too.
