Falconry Display at Winton Castle 1h

Handle, feed and learn about many spectacular birds of prey at Winton Castle!

In one hour spent on Winton Estate near Edinburgh, you will get first-hand experience interacting with several wonderful creatures and learning about their links to Winton, mainly how they were used to hunt, which is one of the most enriching aspects of our falconry display.

Our highly qualified and passionate falconer will ensure you don't fall short of entertainment in this exciting falconry experience with various animals on show, including a Caracara, Harris Hawks, a Kestrel, Black Chested Buzzard Eagle, an Indian Eagle Owl, and a European Eagle Owl.

You will get plenty of valuable time to get up close to the birds handling and maybe even feeding them while one of our experienced instructors talks the group through how amazing these birds are and some insightful facts and stories about their history.
