Description of Full Day Entry to Whipsnade Zoo
In the animal kingdom, sometimes bigger is better.
So come along to Whipsnade Zoo, the biggest zoo in the country ,and get your fill of wildlife, wilderness and wonder! Our 600-acre park is located in Bedfordshire, in the village of Whipsnade, Dunstable. You’ll need a full day to explore it, which is exactly what this ticket gets you.
You can walk, drive or use our train and bus systems to explore the huge park, visiting the large outdoor enclosures of animals such as elephants, white rhinos and amur tigers. You can also visit the kid’s zone and enjoy interacting with cute animals or get up close, safari-style, with the bigger animals in our car-friendly enclosures.
There’s plenty going on here, from feeding sessions to keeper talks, where members of the team explain the life, adaptations and behaviours of our animals in situ. As far as educational visits go, you can’t do better than visit Cheetah Rock, Passage through Asia or the Butterfly House.
There’s also loads for families and kids, but we don’t leave anyone out. The site is accessible for all and we even have wheelchairs available for hire. On top of that, there’s a range of places to eat, relax, and shop, not to mention the toilets and baby changing facilities located around the site.
Remember, visiting this zoo provides funds for vital conservation projects around the world. Book now!
