Are you looking for a new adrenaline filled sport? Do you want to reach heights you’ve never reached before?

Our Via Ferrata is your next exciting challenge! From the Italian for “Iron Path,” a via ferrata is a mix of climbing and hiking, where metal installations such as ladders, cables and walkways allow you to traverse incredibly rugged terrain.

Here in Kinlochleven, that terrain is one of the highest waterfalls in Scotland, the Grey Mare’s Tail. The via ferrata will take you up the bare rock face and over a tyrolean traverse at the top of the waterfall!

Don't worry about safety, because you'll be in the good hands an expert mountan instructor. They will give you expert guidance and all the equipment necessary to ensure that even those without previous climbing experience get to the top. It takes 3 hours, but it’s worth it!

The price is for adults aged over 16. We also have an option for under 16s so you can bring your children with you. Everyone needs to wear outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Bear in mind that there’ll be a lot of spray from the waterfall!
