10,000ft-Skydiving Jump at Shotton Colliery

Give Skydiving a go by having a tandem jump in the Durham skies. It's the perfect start for adrenaline enthusiasts looking for new adventures. It can also be the first step to becoming a licensed skydiver. Whatever your reason is, a skydive jump will not disappoint!

Shotton Airfield is our meeting point, where a professional skydiver will open your adventure with quick yet-important tuition. We will supply all the safety and skydive equipment to enjoy your jump safely. The minimum age to jump is 16, requiring adult supervision for those under 18's. Once you are ready, we will take you into the air in our Cessna Grand Supervan. It will reach 10,00ft in the air within 10 minutes.

Your 10,000ft-jump gives you 30 seconds of freefall with a parachute ride to the ground. We promise it will be a rewarding feeling you cannot compare to anything. We don't require to be in perfect shape or fitness level. However, the weight requirements for women are 14.5 stones and for men 15.5. We strive every day to be inclusive and welcoming to people with some disabilities. You only need to be capable of raising your legs upon landing.

We run our tandem jumps from Wednesday to Sunday, including bank holidays in the summer. We welcome spectators as we have delicious food and drinks at our on-site cafe.
