Description of 2-Day RYA Level 2 Cruising Skills Swansea (12+yrs)

Would you dare to learn advanced lessons and broaden your knowledge and skills? Come and join us in our RYA Level 2 Cruising Basic Skills in Swansea!

All abilities and information acquired during the Sailing Level 1 Start Yachting course will be expanded upon throughout this two-day training. You will be enhancing your knowledge and skills so you can feel more confident when yachting!

Strategies for sailing
Rigging
Directing and controlling the boat
Ropework

After completing this course, you'll be familiar with the fundamentals of yachting and be able to operate a yacht in mild winds as both crew and helm! Who knows? You can be a professional sailor in the future!

Our fully qualified instructors will provide you with a safety briefing and the necessary equipment. Furthermore, the requirement to join the session is basic knowledge up to the level of Start Yachting or taking the Level 1 Start Yachting on the National Sailing Program. In addition, participants in this activity must be at least 12 years old.
