Raft Building and Racing in Womersley for 1h

Are you looking for an activity that will push your ingenuity, creativity and teamwork to the limits?

Look no further than this raft building and racing event! You’ll laugh, you’ll shout, and if you don’t get wet, you’ve done something wrong.

This activity involves building a rudimentary vessel from basic materials - we’re talking about wooden poles, plastic barrels, lots of rope, and anything else you can think of! Then you get to put your creation through its paces on the water. We supply the necessary materials and safety gear.

The 1-hour session takes place at our beautiful venue on the Blue Lagoon near Womersley, North Yorkshire. You’ll start on the banks, designing and building the rafts, then take them on their maiden voyage across the lake.

It takes about four people to build and sail a raft, so this is a fantastic choice for groups of around eight people, with two teams competing against each other. If you’re organising a team-building event, ask us about incorporating raft building into a full programme of events.
