3-5 Day Elementary Paragliding Course in Fishguard

Are you ready to harness the elements and learn to fly?

We train newcomers to the world of paragliding to achieve the seemingly impossible feat of unpowered flight. Having over 20 years and counting of experience under our belts, you can put your faith in our teaching.

Our life-long love of this sport is also testament to the thrilling sensation that comes from paragliding. Those thrills are multiplied when you’re lucky enough to fly over the breathtaking landscapes of South Wales. We are based in Pembrokeshire and use several launch sites around Fishguard, but we fly in the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and on the Gower Peninsula too.

We teach according to the BHPA curriculum. Reaching the Elementary Pilot stage requires between 3 and 5 days of practical instruction. Each day will include different activities and some theoretical instruction and might take place at a different location. The days do not have to be consecutive.

Covered in this course are: launching, flying at low altitudes, landing, flight theory, air law, meteorology and more. The next step is Club Pilot certification.
