Then you can learn to SUP! From the tender age of just 5 years old with us. We run paddleboarding taster sessions that everyone can get involved with - and there’s a special discount for children and teens, aged 5 to 17.
We have a perfect spot for this sport, the River Soar between Lercester and Loughborough. Meeting in Barrow upon Soar, we’ll set off on the calm water - after a safety briefing and introduction to the paddleboarding equipment.
We’ll spend about one hour on the river. An experienced instructor will lead the session, helping everyone nail the basic balance and paddling skills
All the kit is supplied by us, so you just have to worry about getting on your feet. Of course, there are the beautiful banks and meadows to enjoy as well.

It’s never too late to try something new.And it might become your new obsession. Especially when it comes to paddleboarding, or SUP, the ideal watersport for leaving the world behind and connecting with your surroundings.
If you like the sound of that, just head over to Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire, where we’re waiting to welcome you to a 1-hour SUP taster session. The River Soar flows through the village and into the countryside, all we have to do is get our balance on the boards and we’re off!
We’ll supply all the equipment for the session, including life jackets, as well as the guidance and instruction of an experienced watersports coach. The session starts with a safety briefing.
Paddleboarding is suitable for all, even children from the age of 5 years old. This price is for over 18s, but you can book 3 children per adult on the same session using the reduced price.
