Half Day Adult SUP Tour in Menai Strait + snack

The Menai Strait separates the island of Anglesey from the mainland of Wales. Menai comes from welsh “main-aw”, meaning “narrow water”, a characteristic of this strait.

Our SUP guided tours will take you around Beaumaris, and if the conditions are favorable, you’ll be able to paddle under our iconic Menai Bridge, a 30-meter bridge that is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Through this tour, you’ll be able to sightsee the birdlife and marine life. You’ll be guided by one of our highly qualified coaches.

This tour takes about 3-4h depending on the tides and the weather, as well as the sea conditions, and groups availability. If the conditions are unsuitable, we will contact you a day before to see any possible alternatives. Please, be aware that this strait has strong tides, so it can be dangerous for you. We want you to be safe and to have a good time.

Our price includes high-quality equipment (paddleboard, paddle, and leash), a technical t-shirt, a wetsuit, a jacket, buoyancy aid, a guide belt, a changing robe, a first aid kit, photographs taken during the session, hot drinks, and biscuits.

Please make sure you bring a change of clothes and shoes, sunscreen, swimwear, a sun hat, sunglasses on a leash, water (please, don’t use plastic, we are a plastic-free business), water sports shoes, and a fleece jacket in case it gets cold.

If you don’t have any water shoes, we have shoe hire available for £5 per session.

A minimum of 4 people is required for our guided tours. However, if you're fewer than 4, you'll be mixed up with other people.
