Everyone knows that the streets of Newquay are packed with tourists in the summer.

That means the best way to get around is by sea - and we recommend a stand-up paddleboard as the ultimate means of transport on this stunning part of the Cornish Coast. Stop by our surf school above Fistral Beach and pick up a paddleboard package to use for a full day.

That package includes the board, a paddle, a leash, a life jacket and a pump - because these are inflatable models. Wetsuits are also available to rent at a small extra cost.

From the pick-up point, there’s a myriad of places you can go. You can paddle across Fistral Beach - avoiding the surfers! - round the headland into the Gannel Estuary, or go the other direction, passing the Gazzle Peninsula to Newquay Bay.
