Full Day BC Paddle Discover Course at River Wey

Our BC Paddle Discover Course is the next step to take if you had fun with a paddling taster session. It's a fun way to improve your paddling skills in a calm and safe atmosphere.

We run our courses in multiple areas around the South Coast, but our favourite spot in Surrey is The River Wey. You'll be under the guidance and supervision of our professional staff who will cover essential basic paddling abilities. We start our session with a briefing on what to expect during the day.

Some of the topics we include are efficient forward paddling, route planning, manoeuvring skills, kit to carry, rescues and self-preservation and more. After you get confidence we will run multiple games to enforce and test your skills. We will finish with a feedback session to outline the next paddling steps.

You don't need previous experience to join. It's a six-hour course so we recommend to save a day to enjoy it at its fullest. We supply all the equipment and instruction. You only need to bring your enthusiasm!
