Kayak Pub Tour on the River Stort for 4h

Need to escape the modern world or the urban jungle?

Then come for a peaceful paddling tour with us! We’ll take you on a kayaking trip up the River Stort through the Hertfordshire countryside to a charming rural pub and back. It’s good for what ails you!

Our meeting point is Kecksys Marina outside the village of Sawbridgeworth. After a safety briefing, we’ll get the group into kayaks and start the journey of a couple of kilometres up the river to Spellbrook Lock. From there, it’s a short stroll to the pub!

We supply the kayaking equipment and you need to bring enough clothing to keep you warm on the water and a spare set in case you get wet. Don’t forget some money to buy refreshments!

This experience involves kayaking a fair distance so if you haven’t tried the sport before you might want to try our taster session first. Children can come so long as they’re confident in and around the water. Groups of up to ten people are welcome!
