30min Introductory Tour at Halfpenny Green Airport

A helicopter is the best aircraft for aerial observation, and you can ride as a passenger with us on a sightseeing tour from Wolverhampton’s airfield, Halfpenny Green Airport in Staffordshire.

We’ll take a 30-minute flight above the counties of Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Herefordshire, also passing over the urban centres of the West Midlands on request. This is the land of the River Severn, the Welsh borders and precious historical towns like Iron Bridge.

It’s not every day that you get to fly in a helicopter, so we’ll be happy to answer any of your questions about the machine and how to fly it. You should arrive before the arranged flight time so there’ll be time to take in the environment of a small airfield.

Leading the experience will be one of our qualified pilots. They’ll welcome you on board the four-seater helicopter, a Robinson R44, which can take three people alongside the pilot.
