Have you ever wished to be able to pilot a helicopter on your own? This is a fantastic chance for you. During our 120-minute trial session in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, you'll be able to take the controls of a Robinson R44 4-seater helicopter!

The training is evenly divided between classroom theory and actual flying time, allowing you to master both the foundations and the necessary ground and aerial emergency exercises. You'll also get a taste of what it's like to be a genuine co-pilot by learning about Visual Flight Rules.

Experience the thrill of vertical take-off to totally immerse yourself in your surroundings and take in the 360-degree vistas all around you. You'll be able to pilot this legendary aircraft around the nearby regions when your expert instructor gives you the go-ahead, flying over Warner Bros. and Elstree Studios, as well as the beautiful London skyline!

Not only will you get a taste of flying, but there will also be a fun hover challenge at the end of the lesson!

All courses include pre- and post-flight briefings on the most important safety rules, as well as the opportunity to purchase photographs and videos of your trip. You'll receive a certificate of completion once you've completed the session.

Please note that the Robinson R44 Helicopter has a max. height restriction of 7ft (213cm) and max. weight restriction of 20 stone (127kg). The minimum pilot age is 10-years-old, with under 16s having to be supervised by an adult. The training is for 1 person, however the helicopter has 4 additional seats accessible.
