Description of R22 Helicopter Trial Lesson in Borehamwood 60 mins

Take control and fly a 2-seater Robinson R22 helicopter! This 60-minute trial session in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, is meant to give you a taste of solo helicopter flying. Experience the exhilarating thrills of soaring through the skies, and make your dreams come true!

As you take in the breath-taking 360-degree panoramas of your surroundings, you'll feel the exciting sensation of vertical take-off and a sense of freedom like no other.

The class is evenly split between classroom theory and rotors-running flying, giving you the opportunity to grasp the methods as well as the essential ground and aerial emergency drills before taking to the skies with dual controls and your qualified instructor. You'll be able to take command whenever they believe you're ready!

Not only will you fly solo, but your instructor will also serve as a guide, explaining the topography of the airfield and the rest of the region; there will also be a fun hover challenge at the end of the class!

Pre- and post-flight briefings are included in all courses to inform you of the safety requirements both grounded and airborne, as well as the opportunity to purchase mementos of your time in the sky. You'll also receive a certificate of completion for finishing the class, so you can brag about your newfound abilities to your friends and family.
