Helicopter Flight Training at Dunkeswell for 1h

You can start your flying journey by joining our flight training. Our lessons take place at our Dunkeswell base. Don't worry about where to start, as our pilots will tailor them to your needs and ability level. They have over 26 years of experience, and our chief instructor has over 4000 hours of teaching this training. You are in the best hands.

We usually train on board our Hughes/ Schweizer 300 helicopter. It's a capable aircraft in every training aspect. You can develop multiple techniques, such as off-landing or advanced flying. For one hour, you'll be under the instruction of our pilot to direct you towards your PPL(H).

You don't need any pre-requirements to start your training. However, you must be over 16 years old, be capable of carrying out emergency drills and hold a CAA medical examiner-issued medical certificate to have your solo flights.
