Visit the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays

Experience a panorama of England’s South Coast from the striking Spinnaker Tower.

Opened in 2005, this observation tower has become a favourite for its innovative design, location on Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth Harbour and, of course, the views it offers visitors.

With three viewing decks at 100 to 110 metres above sea level, the tower is the perfect place to look down on Portsmouth Harbour, southwest to the Solent, the Isle of Wight and Poole Harbour, and inland across Hampshire and Sussex.

We want you to get the most out of your visit, so if the three defensive forts on the Solent aren’t visible from the viewing platform on the day of your visit, we’ll give you the chance to come back within three months for free.

This ticket gets you access to the tower. You’ll ascend to the top by the lift, or the 560 steps if you’re feeling up to it, and marvel at the vistas on show behind floor-to-ceiling window panes. Dare yourself to walk across the glass floor of deck one, where you can see right down through the sail-shaped structure of the tower.
