Introduction to Fly fishing at Orchill Loch for 2h

This is a special session as this introduction to fly fishing teaches you valuable skills; you know the famous saying, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime" So the benefits of this experience last longer than the two hours you have with us.

Although we run many of our sessions from the Auchterarder area in Perthshire, we lead fly fishing sessions in Orchill Fishery at Orchil South Lodge in Dunblane. You will love the calming atmosphere, and there will be plenty of opportunities to catch fish.

All ability levels are welcome to join our experienced instructors at Orchill Loch, but this is a taster session to mainly get beginners started and progress the skills of improvers.

We will mainly focus on providing you with a strong foundation of basic skills, tackling, casting, using baits and more, as well as insightful knowledge of the area and its various species. All of our instructors have vast experience and valuable knowledge; the benefits of learning from them are endless.

We run this fly fishing experience from April to October, mainly summertime, but if you know anything about UK weather, especially outdoors in Scotland, you would be wise to wear warm and waterproof clothing.
