That’s what virtual reality escape rooms do. If you play Beyond Medusa’s Gate with us, you’ll find yourself in an expansive world where you have to solve a series of puzzles to follow an immersive story.

Fans of the Assassin’s Creed video games will recognise elements of this game because it takes place in the Ancient Greece setting of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This is your chance to get inside the video game for real.

You’ll wear a VR headset and handheld controls, but the most important thing is your movement, which controls your avatar and allows you to interact with the environment. Our venue in Guildford has large open spaces for freedom of movement.

The game is designed for teams of 2 or 4 players, aged 12 or above. Teamwork is essential as you only have 1 hour to identify clues, solve mysteries and bring the story to a head.

How long the activity lasts

As in most escape rooms, the timer is set at one hour. Arrive 10 minutes prior to your arranged time.
