Then gorge walking is the perfect activity for you. This three-hour session involves climbing, scrambling and sometimes sliding down natural shoots in deep canyons! There is no better way to discover Scotland’s beautiful brooks and streams.

The Talla Reservoir is a lake created by a dam. The flat surface of the water belies the rugged terrain that surrounds it, but we know how to find the best natural play areas in the Scottish Borders.

Our activity leaders have years of experience between them and are comfortable catering to people of all backgrounds. They’ll take anyone from the age of eight years old gorge walking in groups of up to eight people (provided there are some adults in the group).

They’ll give you a wetsuit and a helmet to allow you to get stuck into the environment. We ask that you bring a t-shirt (not cotton) and a swimsuit to wear under the wetsuit and old trainers to wear in the gorge. Don’t forget some warm, dry clothes and shoes and a towel!
