Description of Half Day Canoeing Trip on the River Tweed+Snack
Become one with the river on a canoeing journey.
We run canoeing tours on beautiful rivers in Northumberland. Our Canadian canoes are the perfect size for two people (or one adult with two small children) and their belongings, making them perfect for voyages of discovery.
The River Tweed is one of our favourite canoeing destinations for these five-hour trips, but we also love to take people out on the Till, the Tyne and Druridge Bay.
We run our tours with a ratio of one instructor to four canoes, meaning eight people. Using a canoe isn’t hard and, if we pair up more experienced water sports practitioners with novices, people of all abilities can come. The minimum age is seven years old.
Your instructor will give the group all the equipment and some instructions before setting off, help everyone get used to paddling, then guide you downstream pointing out areas of interest. We’ll have some hot drinks and snacks to keep you going as well!

Description of Full Day Canoeing Trip on the River Tweed +Snack
Are you craving an adventure with a dose of mother nature? We’re a team of qualified instructors who want to show you what Northumberland has to offer. In our opinion, the best way to see this part of the country is by canoe. Join us for a full day on the water!
We often choose the River Tweed, which flows along the border between England and Scotland , for these canoeing days. However, the rivers Tyne and Till are wonderful waterways too and, in the right conditions, we can go out on the sea at Druridge Bay.
When we say full day, we mean about eight hours. We will load some snacks and hot drinks onto the canoes and we ask that you bring supplies too.
Our instructors are experts when it comes to leading canoeing activities. With their help, youngsters from the age of seven and up and absolute beginners can get the hang of paddling. We usually pair up less experienced paddlers with more experienced people in our spacious, two-person Canadian Canoes.
Climb aboard and let us take you on the trip of your life!
