How about entering the ancient city of York by canoe? The River Ouse is the most beautiful, and least traffic-prone, way to get into the centre, and we’ll guide you along it from the village of Linton-on-Ouse.

The activity includes a pick up in York and transport to Linton. Here, our watersports guide will get everyone kitted out with safety equipment and assigned to boats. Then we’ll set off downstream, stopping as necessary on the way to our destination.

River journeys are a speciality of the Canadian canoe. These boats have space for 2 people each and plenty left over for storage. They’re very easy to use, so you don’t have to have previous experience to complete this journey.

We encourage you to pack a picnic which we can enjoy on the river bank. This kind of day out is the perfect “something a bit different” activity for a stag or hen do!
