Canoe to York on the Rivers Ure and Ouse, 2 Days

Ever dreamt of traversing a country by canoe?

Now you can do it in Yorkshire, known by locals as God’s Own Country. We run an overnight canoeing trip down rivers and through stunning scenery that will give you something to daydream about for years to come.

Our route takes us from Boroughbridge to York, following the River Ure and the RIver Ouse. We can make it two days with roughly 5 hours of paddling each day.

To break the journey, we’ll camp overnight in a riverside campsite. We supply tents and basic camping gear, as well as the watersports equipment. Our Canadian Canoes really come into their own here, as they have plenty of space to carry luggage.

On top of that, they’re very easy to use, so you don’t need to be a confirmed adventurer to join us on this expedition. Novices are welcome, as are families because the minimum age is 7 years old.

When it comes to food, there’s a pub with a restaurant at the campsite where you can take advantage of, or you can bring all your own supplies. We can provide camp cooking equipment.
