Half-Day Canoe Hire at Martham Broad

There’s nothing like a relaxing journey on the Norfolk Broads.

And we believe the most civilised way to explore this area is by canoeing - especially when the canoes are made in Norfolk, as ours are! They are comfortable, stable Canadian-style canoes and we make them available for hire on Martham Broad.

The capacity of the boats depends on you and your group. Families of four can fit in one boat, so long as the kids haven’t had too much of a growth spurt, as can three adults (every group must contain an adult over 16). They’re simple to use and, on the flat water of the Broads, it’s easy to keep everyone dry.

We will give you a safety briefing when you arrive at our waterside venue and distribute paddles and buoyancy aids. We can also rent out wetsuits and dry bags for an additional fee. Once we see that you’ve got the hang of paddling, we’ll wave you off to enjoy half a day, four hours, of canoeing.
