Much of the beauty of the Lake District is found in its many stunning lakes and mountains, but not all of it. Many adventures through its various rivers can also lead you to so much mystery and beauty, so much so that you will be in awe.

Our full-day river trips through the river of the Lake District give you the choice of travelling in a canoe if you are a first-timer, but if you are a more experienced paddler, you have the option to choose a kayak to take you on this voyage. Don't worry too much about your experience; we welcome everyone; our expert instructors will guide you through the river's twists and turns and lead you to safety.

After exploring one of the area's many beautiful lakes, we will head down the one of the rivers passing picturesque mountains, hills and countryside sights; you won't believe your eyes as you paddle past the scenic river banks.

Whether you choose a kayak or canoe, we will provide all the best quality equipment that matches your choice. The canoes and kayaks are top quality to ensure a top-class experience.

Our experienced instructors tailor the entire full-day trip to create the best learning environment so you will gain new skills or improve the skills you already have; in addition to the safety briefing before the session, we will give another briefing to assess your confidence in taking on the rapids so you can enjoy only the relaxing paddling along the river or you can step up the pace with some white water rapids which will get the adrenaline pumping.

The minimum age for canoeing is 10, but 16 for kayaking.
