Glass Basket Balloon Flight at Wells Cathedral 1h

We have a traditional flying experience with a twist, and it's on offer to a maximum of three people at once.

This glass basket hot air balloon flight is the only one of its kind in the UK and allows you to not only enjoy sights all around you as you can on any balloon, but this unique creation has a glass bottom that you can look through as you float away over the Wells area.

Wells Cathedral, rolling hills and beautiful fields can all be spotted and enjoyed on this one-hour flight through the Somerset countryside in a top-class balloon guided by one of our experienced pilots and passionate crew.

Every aspect of this activity is tailored to suit you, from the weather risk assessment we make to ensure we can fly and the safety briefing to the flight itself, which is open to everyone over 8, but an adult must accompany all under 16s.

Some other entry measures include a minimum height of 4 foot 6 inches high or 1.4 metres and a maximum weight exceeding 18 stone 114kg.

Although you have one hour of non-stop fun and adventure in store, please keep around 4 hours free to complete the entire experience, as we need some time to set up the equipment, takeoff, explore and land safely again.
