Half Day Microlight Flying Course in Heathfield

For half a day in Heathfield, you can begin to make your aspirations of being a pilot a reality and turn a hobby into a passion.

Take to the skies above the beautiful East Sussex landscapes in a half-day flying course from Bradley's Lawn Airfield, where we run various courses and flights.

This course is best suited to people that have felt the unique taste of flying and want to take it to the next level, so if you can't get enough of the picturesque views and the exhilarating thrills, then join this course to experience that even more and progress your skills immensely.

This course consists of two half-hour training flights, a briefing and a debriefing. Also, to help you become a pilot, we provide all the necessary information about the NPPL(M), an assessment if you have an expired rating, and a free personal log book if you are already in the course.

For the duration, you can enjoy the vast experience and expertise of our professional instructors, who will provide you with specialist knowledge and more advanced techniques to give you confidence in the pilot seats and help you achieve your license in the future. We provide constant encouragement and will help you with any concerns you have.

You can fly one of the fantastic microlights from our fleet, such as Pipistrel Alpha Trainers or Ikarus C-42; these beautiful aircraft's lighter builds and simplicity is perfect for learning new skills and beginning your flying journey.

Before the course, our instructors will deliver a safety briefing to put you at ease and maintain safety measures throughout.

To join our courses, you must be medically fit to fly, weigh no more than 14.5 Stone and be no taller than 6.2 feet. We also assess the weather conditions to ensure it is safe to fly at the proposed time.
