Rope Race Climbing Centre

Located at the edge of the Peak District, between Stockport, Macclesfield, Manchester, Cheshire, and Derbyshire, Rope Race Climbing Centre offers a unique climbing experience indoors and outdoors. We offer sessions for children and adults, families and groups.

At Rope Race Climbing Centre, we aim to get everyone climbing and share our passion and knowledge for the sport with our visitors. We are a dedicated indoor climbing & bouldering facility with a wide range of routes and obstacles to tackle for all levels of climbers.

Our courses range from an indoor taster session for a novice to professional instructor courses and masterclasses. We offer training for advanced climbers who wish to improve their technique and get better day by day.

Our resin walls will challenge even the most skilled and experienced climbers. We change our routes weekly so that you don’t get bored by always completing the same routes.

Rope Race Climbing Centre's facilities have two different areas, including the lounge and the Palm Room, and a training area with slackline, fingerboards, and more! Check them out for yourself when you visit us!

There is also an onsite café, offering hot and cold options that you will appreciate after an exhausting climbing session. We have the world’s famous flapjacks! Come and try them!
