With over a decade of experience providing high quality underground adventures to suit the abilities, aspirations and adventurous ambitions of our clients, you'll find an excellent day, or half day, caving with us will provide you with a sense of achievement and satisfaction having overcome a range of enjoyable challenges.

Why cave with Underground Adventures?

We don't do large groups and we don't put strangers together - over the years we found that people far prefer the "reserved table in a restaurant" approach, keeping themselves to themselves - this results in smaller groups who are able to go further, seeing more and going further and doing more - it's what sports caving is all about; why waste time and money queuing at common bottleneck obstacles in a large and slow procession when there's so much to do and enjoy!

Where?
Mostly caving beneath the Mendip Hills in North Somerset and also Dartmoor in Devon.

What do we do?
A variety of beginner, intermediate and advanced sessions to suit your ability. Your first trip might involve abseiling and getting soaked, or if you prefer you may wish to stay dry and enjoy some roped slides - if you love water and have a wetsuit to bring then we can get really aquatic!

We are unsurpassed with the quality of equipment - we don't have el-cheapo stuff - we've got state-of-the-art hyper-powerful £400 lights, polycarbonate helmets, climbing harnesses, neoprene elbow pads and knee pads, heavy-duty cordura one-piece caving oversuits: you will be fully equipped with top notch gear that sports cavers aspire to! Qualification? - the highest is the CIC (Caving Instructor Certificate) - and your guide/leader holds this award, you will be glad to hear.
