We are a small nonprofit organization based in Llandudno. Our purpose is to investigate and promote the history of the Great Orme, especially history pertaining to the area´s mining past. We also seek to conserve and protect the environment by expanding awareness of the area and it´s rich and interesting heritage to locals and visitors alike.
If you would like to be a member of our society, we would provide the opportunity to explore the old mines according to rules that we have put in place to ensure that the mines are properly protected and respected. Members can also attend all field trips, group functions, meetings, etc. of the club. Pertinent literature is given to members each year.

If anyone has any information, old pictures, plans, maps, and the like of the Great Orme or the mines in it, we (GOES) would be delighted to hear from you. We are always on the lookout for more information!
